The SSSP is one of the largest social science associations in the world, with nearly 2,000 members, 600-700 of whom attend our annual meetings regularly.  These scholars conduct research, publish, and teach, and are always looking for new titles for their research and classes.

ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES

This meeting is an excellent opportunity to advertise current titles dealing with social problems such as crime, justice and punishment; environmental justice; gender inequality; global and economic inequality; labor issues; health care policy; immigration; institutional ethnography; justice concerns across the life course; LGBTQ issues and concerns; poverty, disadvantage and welfare; racism and anti-racism; disability rights, and social movements to an audience of active scholars, practitioners, advocates and students.

The meeting program containing an outline of nearly 550 presentations and other essential information will be distributed to each conferee and posted for one year on the frequently visited SSSP web site.  We encourage you to enhance your presence in this market by advertising in the SSSP conference program.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Becoming a sponsor of the Society for the Study of Social Problems’ Annual Meeting is an excellent way of displaying prominently your name, services, and products throughout the Annual Meeting and final program.  Your sponsorship of the Reception honoring Past Presidents will bring you to the attention of conference attendees and your sponsorship of food and beverage breaks will promote your company.  SSSP tote bag sponsorship will enable you to display your name and/or logo prominently on the side of a bag that participants use throughout the entire Annual Meeting and long after it has ended, often to take to the beach and to go shopping, in the process helping to improve our environment by eliminating disposable bags.
