Items: 
1. Discussion about election for another co-chair to overlap 
* Doug stepping down as Chair of the Division for personal reasons 
* Oleitan and Mindy are Co-Chairs 
* Co-chairs serve a two-year term (one year overlap between chairs) 
* Division election procedures – need to start that immediately 
* Coordinate the process – recruiting nominees, running the election (mostly done by the SSSP); but we have to recruit the people interested in running.
* Has to be in place by the annual meeting – only have 1.5 months 
* Mindy can help. Will talk to Michelle 

2. Sessions for conference in Chicago 
* Put together a group/ sub-committee to create ideas for the NYC conference in 2026
* Theme for 2026 conference – Resisting Colonization of Lifeworlds  
* Lily re: Session organizing Sending out an email – requesting and soliciting ideas for sessions for next year 
* Only 3 weeks after the meeting (Sept 15th) – get it started beforehand
* Mindy: Also invite people to send in their ideas

3. Special activities as a combined division 
- Meet and greet 
- Workshop to bring the division members together 
- Tours of the city (sponsored by divisions) 
- One of the workshops is virtual – could be more accessible 

4. Publishing projects 
- Doug and Mindy collaborating on a piece about cancer diagnosis 
- Thoughts on something to publish as a division (e.g. Special Issue)

5. Budget 
* Newsletter - previously Emma Tubens (Second year of MSW program); May need to recruit a person to compile  newsletter 
* Cash award for paper 
* Division sponsored reception ($250) – co-sponsored reception
