The deadline to volunteer to serve as a mentor or request to be matched with a mentor is June 30, 2023. 

The SSSP Mentoring Program is designed to facilitate interaction between members of SSSP who wish to be paired with a mentor or mentee. The primary objective of this program is to facilitate connections between mentors and mentees for at least 1 year (summer 2023-summer 2024).

For mentees: You will be paired with a mentor that aligns with your indicated needs as they relate to academic, professional, and/or personal aspects.

For mentors: You can indicate the specifics of your participation (e.g., having 1 or more mentees, frequency of communication) and indicate the aspects on which you are best suited to advise.

The process for being matched with a mentor or mentee begins by submitting the appropriate online application form below.

To become a mentor, please complete the mentor online application form.

You must be a current member to participate in the Mentor Program. Click here to join or renew your membership. All participants are expected to abide by the SSSP’s Anti-Harassment Policy.
