Each year the SSSP Divisions hold student paper competitions relating to their specific topic areas and interests. These awards recognize students for their outstanding scholarship in their respective fields. The 2025 Student Paper Competitions and Outstanding Scholarship Awards will be available on October 15, 2024. Previous awards winners and winning student paper abstracts can be found here.

The deadline for the 2024 Student Paper Competitions and Outstanding Scholarship Awards has passed. In order to be considered for any of the Student Paper Competitions, applicants are required to submit their papers through the Annual Meeting Call for Papers. This ensures that winning papers are both designated and included in the program. Students can only submit to one division and each division has its own deadline and submission process.
