Human Sexuality PhD Decennial Kickoff: 10 Years of Mindful Contribution to Critical Sexuality Studies

Join us for a night of celebration as we mark a decade of groundbreaking work in critical sexuality studies with the Human Sexuality Doctoral Program! Since our inception in 2014, our program has proudly stood at the forefront of sexuality studies, offering one of the few accredited PhD programs in this field worldwide, and the only one on the West Coast. Over 125 students have joined us on this journey, making a profound impact in the world of sexuality research and advocacy.
Keynote speaker and HSX Program Founder, Dr. Gilbert Herdt, will share his experiences and insights from the program's early days. Department Chair Dr. Michelle Marzullo, along with faculty, students, and alumni, will provide diverse perspectives on the evolution and impact of sexuality studies and the exciting future ahead.
