This session serves as an introductory media training for writers and academics preparing for interviews with popular media outlets, including print and digital publications, podcasts, radio, YouTube, and TV. Drawing on case studies and real-world experience, Dyssou will share insights into the strategies she’s used to successfully promote books, research, and author brands through the media. While the session is designed for participants of all backgrounds, it places special emphasis on BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized voices who want to master media engagement and increase their public profiles.
