The primary objective of this program is to facilitate connections between mentors and mentees for at least one year (summer 2025–summer 2026). 2025 SSSP Proposed Resolutions

SSSP resolutions constitute an important opportunity for SSSP to take positions on a wide range of social issues, thereby creating a channel for greater visibility and more direct influence upon a variety of “publics,” i.e., fellow activists, scholars, students, decision-makers, social action groups, voters, and others. All current members are invited to review and comment on the 2025 proposed resolutions until July 15.

Secure your accommodations at the SSSP conference hotel. Our single/double occupancy room rate is $229 plus tax, per night. Be sure to request the SSSP - 2025 Chicago room rate when booking. Reservations made after July 7 (or if the room block fills before then) are subject to availability and may be at a higher rate.

Call for Nominations - 2026 General Election (nomination deadline: 6/15)

Nominations are open for candidates to run in the 2026 General Election. Consider nominating a colleague or yourself for an elected office. All nominees must be a 2025 member and must have attended at least one annual meeting to be considered. Self-nominations are welcome.
