Native American House Alliance, Inc.
At the 2023 Annual Meeting, SSSP awarded the Indigenous Peoples’ Social Justice Award and contributed $500 to Native American House Alliance, Inc. In advance of the Native American House Alliance, Inc.’s documentary about the treaty of Shackamaxon, watch these videos to provide a framework for teachers and groups to discuss Native American history: The Original People and Great Women in Native American History.

Announcing the Next Editors for Social Problems
The SSSP Board of Directors is pleased to announce that they have approved Drs. Andrew Fullerton, Michael Long, Rachel Schmitz, and Kelley Sittner to serve as the next editors of Social Problems. Beginning on June 1, 2024, the editorial office of Social Problems will move to Oklahoma State University. At that time, all new and revised submissions will be the responsibility of the new editorial team. Submissions will continue to route through ScholarOne Manuscripts.
Please join us in welcoming the new editorial team and in thanking Drs. Annulla Linders, Earl Wright II, and Derrick Brooms for their strong leadership and dedication as outgoing Editors of Social Problems.

Scholars at Risk (SAR), has received unprecedented numbers of applications for assistance and are currently working with over 70 scholars seeking placements within the network. This month they are working to spread the word about scholars of law, public policy and international relations.
