Conference Mentoring: Important Reminders for MENTEES:

I have read the guidelines carefully and recognize that:

• Mentor-mentee matching is done thoughtfully, but due to varying availability, expertise, or experience levels, perfect alignment may not always be possible within the short timeframe of the conference.
• We encourage mentors and mentees to clearly communicate expectations, availability, and goals-ideally in an introductory message or during your first meeting.
• Please let us and your mentees know if your attendance at the conference or your capacity to be a mentee in this program has changed, so we can adjust accordingly.
• Mentees will reach out to the SSSP Committee on Mentorship with any concerns or if they have not heard back from their mentor after a few attempts to contact them over time.
• Our committee will do our best to answer your question or resolve any concerns in a timely, mutual, and respectful manner.
