2026 SSSP Proposed Resolutions

SSSP resolutions provide an important opportunity for the Society to take positions on a wide range of social issues, creating a channel for greater visibility and more direct influence among activists, scholars, students, decision-makers, social action groups, voters, and others. All current members are invited to review and comment on the 2026 proposed resolutions through July 15.

2025 C. Wright Mills Award Finalists

The committee reviewed 113 nominated books to select the six finalists for the 2025 C. Wright Mills Award. The winner will be announced during the Awards Ceremony at the Annual Meeting.
