San Francisco Walking Tours, Conferences, and Workshop Get Your Tickets While They Last!

In addition to all of the exciting sessions, panel discussions, and events of the 2014 Annual Meeting, we are pleased to offer optional conferences, a workshop, and walking tours for our attendees.

Optional Conferences/Workshop

ONE-DAY CONFERENCE: CRITICAL AND ACTIVIST SCHOLARSHIP

No fee to attend this conference.

ONE-DAY CONFERENCE: INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMATIC AND POLICY RESPONSES TO POVERTY    
Monday, August 18, 8:30am-5:00pm
Location: The San Francisco Marriott Marquis
Cost: $100 for employed faculty/practitioners; $70 for unemployed/community activists/students

INSTITUTIONAL ETHNOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
Monday, August 18, 8:30am-5:00pm
Location: The San Francisco Marriott Marquis 
Cost: $100 for employed registrants or $70 for unemployed/activist and student registrants

Each tour offers insight into a different facet of San Francisco's rich history of social justice.

Tickets: $25 per person (includes BART subway fare)

WALKING TOUR: Delancey Street Foundation
Saturday, August 16, 10:15am-12:30pm (includes travel time)
Tickets: $20 per person

WALKING TOUR: We Want to Stay: Western Addition Neighborhood Activism in Response to Post-WWII Urban Redevelopment 
Sunday, August 17, 12:30pm-3:30pm (includes travel time)
Tickets: $25 per person (includes MUNI bus fare)
