Asian Americans in the Era of Covid-19

In the wake of Atlanta shooting on March 16 which left six women of Asian descent dead, protests against anti-Asian hate erupted in the U.S. On April 14, the U.S. senate passed the Covid-19 Hate Crimes Act 92-to-6 which paved the way for its final passage. The White House announced a liaison position from the Biden Administration to the Asian-American Pacific Islander community. As the nation is on its way to address this issue, it is important to understand Asian hate in the context of the American history and Covid-19. Hopefully, the country can move forward which is keenly needed.
