Special Election on SSSP Proposed Statements

SSSP is holding a special election regarding our organization’s endorsement of statements related to the ongoing tragic events happening in Palestine and Israel. This request is special, as it represents the first time in SSSP history where members have petitioned the Board of Directors (Board) to issue a statement outside of the annual resolutions cycle. Current SSSP members are being asked to cast votes related to two different statements to be issued by our organization, and to cast another vote that indicates preference for whether or not SSSP should issue a statement on this topic at all.
