Understanding Human Need, Second Edition, by Hartley Dean – FREE CHAPTER and DISCOUNT

“Venturing beyond a standard revision, this book develops a novel radical humanist vision of need and outlines a ‘needs-first’ ethic.” Ian Gough, The London School of Economics and Political Science

This new edition of Understand Human Need by Hartley Dean differs significantly from the previous edition. It takes an approach encompassing both the global North and South and models existing practical and theoretical approaches to human need while also proposing a radical alternative.
