The Westin Seattle Hotel’s Business Center plus FedEx Office enables guests to print, fax, and ship. Open Monday-Friday from 7:00am-6:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am-2:00pm.

The Westin Seattle Hotel features Relish Burger Bistro and the Lobby Bar.

Relish Burger Bistro: This bistro is a contemporary restaurant offering a modern twist on an American classic, combining Seattle’s culinary influence with gourmet burgers. Relish is open 6:30am-11:00pm and offers three meals a day.

Lobby Bar: Try a local microbrew, a glass of Northwestern wine, or a signature specialty drink like the Washington Red Apple Martini from the conveniently located hotel bar open daily 3:00pm-11:00pm.

Distance to ASA Annual Meeting

The ASA Annual Meeting will be held at the Washington State Convention Center and the Sheraton Seattle Hotel. Both the convention center and hotel are less than one mile away from the Westin Seattle Hotel, and can be accessed by bus, cab, or walking. Walking directions are provided on pages 8-9.

Seattle is home to many famous sites and attractions of interest to conference attendees.

Attractions near the conference hotel include:

  • Pike Place Market, enjoy 9-acres of shopping, restaurants, and live music at bars while exploring the aisles of fresh seafood, baked goods, cheeses, arts & crafts, and exotic flowers.
  • Space Needle, when built for the 1962 World’s Fair, it was the tallest building in the West. Take in the view at the Revolving SkyCity Restaurant, buy gifts at SpaceBase, learn history, science, math, and geography at the Sky School, then explore the 74 acre Seattle Center.
  • Westlake Center & Pacific Place Shopping Mall, offers fantastic shopping and dining options adjacent to the Westin.
  • Chihuly Garden and Glass, showcases the studio glass of Dale Chihuly, leader in the development of glass as a fine art.
  • Seattle Aquarium, home of six major exhibits.
  • Safeco Field, Seattle Mariners’ 19.59-acre outdoor baseball park with real grass and a retractable roof, is one of the premier baseball facilities ever built.   • The Museum of Flight, located just south of Seattle, offers artifacts relating to aviation and space history plus the 3-D movie Journey to Space.
  • Mount Rainier National Park, an expansive Washington state reserve southeast of Seattle, has glacier-capped, 14,410-ft.-high Mount Rainier as its towering centerpiece. Atop 6,400-ft.-tall Sunrise, the highest point in the park reachable by car, visitors can admire Rainier and other nearby volcanoes, sweeping mountain views, summertime wildflower meadows, and many hiking trailheads.
