Social Entrepreneurship Paper Award

The deadline for nominations for the 2024 SSSP Best Paper Award in Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation was April 30, 2024. 

HISTORY

The award winner will receive $2,500, one complimentary annual membership to the SSSP, one complimentary registration to the SSSP Annual Meeting, and a plaque. The winner will be recognized at the SSSP Awards Ceremony. Acceptance of the award comes with the expectation of presenting the winning paper at the current or following year’s SSSP Annual Meeting.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & SUBMISSION PROCESS
  • Paper centers social entrepreneurship and innovation, makes a significant contribution to the existing literature, and has relevance to practice.
  • The paper must be unpublished at the time of submission.
  • One entry per author is permitted. Jointly authored papers are eligible. All communication and award details will be directed to the corresponding author.
  • Papers with students as sole or co-authors without a faculty/professional co-author should be submitted to the student paper award.
NOMINATIONS

The deadline for the 2024 award was April 30, 2024. The 2024 award will be presented at the 74th Annual Meeting in Montréal, Canada, August 9-11, 2024.
