Sustainable Meeting Water Service

To support environmentally responsible meeting practices, the hotel may utilize a filtered water dispensing system for meetings and events. This environmentally friendly alternative reduces waste associated with bottled water service and minimizes the carbon impact associated with shipping, storage, and recycling. Water is provided in reusable dispensers with environmentally responsible cups.

Valet Parking

Valet parking is available at the hotel entrance for overnight guests.

Overnight hotel guest valet parking: approximately $90 per night (rates subject to change).

Valet parking includes in-and-out privileges for hotel guests. An attendant will issue a valet ticket upon arrival. Overnight guests may charge valet parking to their guest room for payment at check-out.

Childcare Information/Disclaimer

The Society for the Study of Social Problems (SSSP) does not provide childcare services at the annual meeting. However, the Administrative Office can provide conference attendees (upon request) with a list of other attendees in need of childcare, in the event that they wish to coordinate childcare or outings with one another.

If this does not satisfy your childcare needs, members may contact local childcare providers in advance for reservations, hours, and fee information. Please note that the Society has not vetted and therefore is not in a position to recommend these services. Consequently, members are advised to conduct their own vetting.
