Secure your accommodations at the Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel. Our single/double occupancy room rate is $229 plus tax, per night. Be sure to request the SSSP - 2025 Chicago room rate when booking. SSSP Proposed Resolutions

SSSP resolutions constitute an important opportunity for SSSP to take positions on a wide range of social issues, thereby creating a channel for greater visibility and more direct influence upon a variety of “publics,” i.e., fellow activists, scholars, students, decision-makers, social action groups, voters, and others. All current members are invited to review and comment on the 2025 proposed resolutions until July 15.

Call for Nominations - 2026 General Election (nomination deadline: 7/6)

Nominations are open for candidates to run in the 2026 General Election. Consider nominating a colleague or yourself for an elected office. All nominees must be a 2025 member and must have attended at least one annual meeting to be considered. Self-nominations are welcome.
