Membership and Outreach Spotlight: Dr. Morena Tartari

Our next Membership and Outreach Committee spotlight comes from Dr. Morena Tartari, Babeș-Bolyai University: SSSP member Jerome Krase, as President of the European Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (not the National Academy) and with Fulbright Foundation Specialist Award, have contributed to organize a conference on the "Local and Global Impacts of the War in Ukraine" with the Institute of Sociological Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, in Prague

The conference will take place on June 6-7, 2024 and aims to strengthen the knowledge base on the consequences of the conflict in Ukraine in local and global contexts, to report on how the world is radically changing in response to the war, and to discuss and communicate this enhanced knowledge base to the wider public.
