Accessibility Information
SSSP is committed to making the Annual Meeting accessible to all. Special services arranged in advance can be verified with Michele Koontz, Administrative Officer & Meeting Manager, upon arrival to ensure you receive the assistance you require. Please see Michele if you encounter any problems or need further assistance.
SSSP has established an Accessibility Services Fund to allow members to contribute directly toward making accessibility services more affordable for attendees with disabilities. Donations can be made when registering, when joining or renewing membership, or at anytime.
Air Quality & Service Animals
SSSP requests that all participants refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, and other fragrances for the benefit of attendees with chemical sensitivities. Unless you yourself use a service or therapy dog or other credentialed assistance animal, we ask that you do not companion animals into the conference space.

An Area of Rescue Assistance will be established and clearly marked with signage on all levels of the conference space. In the event of a hotel evacuation during meeting hours, hotel staff will check these areas for attendees who require assistance.

Accessibility Information
New York City is committed to being an inclusive and accessible destination. Visitors can find resources to help plan their trip, including information on transportation, attractions, neighborhoods, dining, museums, sports, theaters, and more. We encourage you to explore these accessibility resources while planning your visit.
Should a Problem Arise While in New York
If you experience any accessibility concerns during the conference (e.g., issues with housing, meeting sessions, travel throughout the city, or venues), please visit the SSSP Registration Desk. A team member will record your concern and advocate to resolve the issue whenever possible.
