Apply for the SSSP Meeting Mentor Program (application deadline June 30)
The Meeting Mentor Program is designed to facilitate interaction between new members or graduate students and veterans at the annual meeting. Meeting mentors provide valuable knowledge about the SSSP and annual meeting activities as well as insights into their own experiences as scholar activists. If you are interested in serving as a mentor or being matched with a mentor in Chicago, complete the appropriate application.

SSSP Graduate Student Virtual Social Hour
Please join SSSP in a virtual social hour on April 22 at 3:00pm (Eastern Time) open to all graduate student members. During the social hour, the graduate student board representative and other attendees will discuss support and resources and also share updates about the SSSP community and ways to get more involved. SSSP Mentoring Program (application deadline: June 30)
The SSSP Mentoring Program is designed to facilitate interaction between members of SSSP. The primary objective of this program is to facilitate connections between mentors and mentees for at least 1-year (summer 2025–summer 2026). If you are interested in serving as a mentor or being matched with a mentor, complete the appropriate application.

Tuesday, April 15 is the final day to make a nomination for the following awards: Arlene Kaplan Daniels Paper Award, Doris Wilkinson Faculty Leadership Award, Joseph B. Gittler Award, Kathleen S. Lowney Mentoring Award, and Lee Founders Award. These awards are great ways to recognize outstanding leadership and scholarly achievements. Learn more and apply.

Nominations are Open for the 2026 General Election (nomination deadline: June 15)
Nominations are open for candidates to run in the 2026 General Election. Consider nominating a colleague or yourself for an elected office. All nominees must be a 2025 member and must have attended at least one annual meeting to be considered. Self-nominations are welcome.
